Sydney Film Fest Day 3

Still a little freaked out by the doco I just watched called winter soldier. I was made in 1972 about the winter soldier investigation. The doco consists of Vietnam veterans talking about war crimes they witnessed or commited. Let me tell you that 95min of people talking about war crimes is pretty disturbing but probably needs to be watched by anyone thinking signing up for army.

Sydney Film Fest Day 2

Well I got my bag back from the laundry mat with the tickets so was able to see “starfish hotel” with luke and ceez. All I can say is I don’t know how I felt about the film, I think I liked it but I am not sure how to take the film whether it should be viewed as a dreamlike world where things aren’t necessarily related or there were coherent ideas and I was just too stupid to get it. But I will give it 3 ½ stars for the creepy bunny alone

Sydney Film Fest Day 1

I have been slack of late but better late with a post than never

Well the Sydney film fest did not start off to well for me as I missed the first film. The reason I missed the film was because I had placed my ticket securely inside my sports bag which I placed my laundry in and preceded to drop off at the laundry mat. The nite wasn’t a total loss as I was able to watch army of darkness instead. Oh yeah

Finally moved

Well after much heartache I have finally move out of Penrith and in to Woolloomooloo, now I can finally live in the eastern suburbs of Sydney. This is my first step to becoming the pretentious snob I have always dreamed of being.

Already I am using the phrase “is that west of Balmain?”
